LSVT LOUD® is an intensive, evidence-based speech therapy programme for people living with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions.
What is LSVT LOUD®?
LSVT LOUD® focuses on improving and retraining vocal loudness. It is based on principles of neuroplasticity—helping the brain strengthen new communication pathways through intensive, structured practice.

This programme is for adults experiencing:
• Soft, quiet voice

The standard LSVT LOUD® format includes:
• Four sessions per week for four weeks (16 sessions total)
• Daily home practice
• Structured exercises to build loudness and clear speech
• Real-life communication tasks
Before starting, you will have a full assessment to confirm suitability.
If suitable, you will also require a laryngoscopy before you begin therapy, to check your vocal health and make sure you are safe to proceed with this intensive therapy. This referral will be requested via your GP.
After the month of therapy, you will receive a personalised long-term practice plan, with optional follow-up sessions if helpful.
