Service Policy & Terms
1. Bookings & Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking.
A booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received.
Payments must be made via the secure payment link provided through WriteUpp/Stripe.
Appointments cannot be held without payment.
Refunds cannot be provided for completed sessions or missed appointments.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session without charge.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full and may not be rescheduled.
In exceptional circumstances, and at the therapist’s discretion, a £30 rescheduling fee may be applied if the session is rebooked within 7 days.
In cases of genuine emergency or sudden illness, rescheduling without charge may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
3. Late Arrivals & Missed Sessions
Sessions will finish at the scheduled time even if you arrive late.
If you do not attend within 15 minutes of the session start time, the appointment will be considered a no-show and charged in full.
Missed sessions cannot be refunded or transferred unless otherwise agreed.
If the therapist is delayed unexpectedly, the full session time will be honoured or the session rescheduled at no additional cost.
For online sessions: if technical issues arise, reasonable efforts will be made to complete or reschedule the appointment at no additional charge.
4. Session Format & Access
Online sessions:
You will receive a secure link for each scheduled session.
Please ensure a stable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free environment.
Sessions will not be recorded without explicit prior agreement.
Face-to-face sessions:
Sessions take place at an agreed location (home visit, community setting, or clinic).
For home visits, clients are responsible for ensuring the area is clean, safe, and suitable for therapy.
5. Confidentiality & Data Protection
All sessions are private and confidential.
Therapy notes and personal data are stored securely in line with UK GDPR (2018) and HCPC/RCSLT professional standards.
Information will only be shared with other professionals (e.g., GP, NHS teams) with your consent, unless required by law or safeguarding responsibilities.

By booking and/or paying for services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
